Question

Hi

Currently we control cameras with the RUT240 OC output firing a relay. However, in our case, as were powering both the camera and RUT240 via the same 12v power supply, in theory, i should be able to remove the relay between the RUT and the camera and allow the RUT to control the camera directly. As the camera is using less than 9w

Hello, 

Regarding the scenario you are trying to implement it would be best to connect it with a relay because if you connect it directly there is a chance that the devices will be damaged because the Digital OC Output could handle up to 300mA over that max current devices may be damaged.
