It seems that after over 2 weeks of banging my head against various blunt and pointy objects. Vodafone sims just don't work in this device. 2 have 2 RUT X11 devices. Neither work with Vodafone sims but work instantly with other provider sims like O2 3 Asda etc.

What a f'in PITA!

No information I can find from teltonika tells me these devices don.t work with Vodafone sims. Well I can only talk about vodafone Uk sims.

happy to be corrected but if you are going to do then then post a working config file.

May i know what is the firmware on the device , have you tried upgrading to the latest ?

Is sim showing inserted ?

What is the status of the mobile part?

Have you tried to keep the APN as custom ? If it works?

What APN settings are you using ?

We have tried the latest firmware and 2 versions backwards. See my other threads.

All looks connected correctly Sim shows as registered and connected for data gets an IP assigned from VF but no internet.

Inserting another provider sim works perfectly within a minute or so after it has registered on the new network.

Auto APN, manual APN, Auto DNS, manual DNS nothing works with VF. All works exactly as it should we other providers.

Hello,

So, you have enough data remaining in your sim card . 

Could you please share me a troubleshoot file for the device when the vodafone sim card is inserted .

System>Administration>Troubleshoot.

Also you have tried keeping auto and manual APN and its still not working properly. May i know if you have confirmed with the ISP what is the correct APN.

What IP does acquire , what IP address you are receiving on your sim is it public or private ? 

As you mention that the other network sim card works fine but issue is only with vodafone. So, meaning device is working fine . Only issue comes when you use vodafone so may i know if vodafone has good coverage in this area? 

Have you tried to relocate device to receive more better signals.
