I use a RUTX09 with two BOUYGUES TELECOM SIM cards with 200 GB packages.

In the interface management I set the data limit for each SIM card to 200 GB.

In the "FAILOVER" I programmed the "FAILOVER" mode between SIM1 and SIM 2.

First observation when I reach the 200 GB limit on the first SIM, I do not automatically switch to SIM2, I have to send the SWITCHSIM command by SMS to switch to SIM2.

Other problems, while the two packages are not consumed, if I am on SIM2, and I send the SWITCHSIM command, the switchover is done well on SIM1 (after 2 to 3 minutes), but both SIM cards remain “ONLINE” permanently, the two SIM lights remain on, why?

Hi, please find the Sim switch configurations to meet your needs via link:

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX11_Mobile#SIM_Switch

Both Sim cards would show online if they are registered and connected to network.

Hello. On the RUTX09 how can the two SIM cards be online when there is only one MODEM?

Hi, please update the firmware to latest RUTX_R_00.07.01.2 version.

Should you replicate the issue, please download the troubleshoot file per following:

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX09_Administration#Troubleshoot_2

then upload the files to the platform that we can send to RnD team to investigate.

Regards,

Ledong
