Guten Morgen, good morning,

We bought the RUTX14 router for use in our company mobile home. External antennas are connected to the router.

We inserted and activated the SIM card (Multi SIM from Telekom) in slot 1. However, we always get the message that no internet is available. We also had the problem that when the router was switched on, the calls on the cell phone with the main SIM card were displayed as busy. Is there a manual, if possible in German, which describes the basic setup and the setting for using the Internet function. We would like to set the router so that it uses the local WLAN first, the SIM card second, and the second SIM card for business trips to countries outside the EU (prepaid for the relevant country). Unfortunately, the dealer in Germany (FTS Hennig GmbH, 01561 Grossenhain) doesn't want to help us. Mr. Henning was rude and did not speak positively about Teltonika products. We hope that you can help us so that we can use the router as we imagined.

Thanks in advance.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best Regards

Hello,

Thanks for contacting TELTONIKA | Crowd-support forum.

It’s recommended to set up APN manually.

An Access Point Name (APN) is a gateway between a GSM, GPRS, 3G or 4G mobile network and another computer network. Depending on the contract, some operators may require you to enter the APN just to complete the registration to a network.

More information can be found here.

In order to solve the busy issue while incoming call, enter in your router’s WebUI, go to service > Mobile utilities > Incoming Calls and change the action from reject to Ignore.

Regarding Wi-Fi WAN, here’s a video explains how to enable Wi-Fi WAN on RUTX series.

Best regards,

Hallo,
