Hello

I am having the same problem as described in  https://community.teltonika-networks.com/42655/rut2_r_00-07-01-2-package-manager, i.e. with firmware RUT2_R_00.07.01.2 Package Manager doesn't show anything

opkg update gives also same results - Failed to download https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/21.02.0/packages/mips_24kc/vuci/Packages.gz which true, because vuci folder is not existing at the server

Hello,

VUCI packages are no longer available for download from official OpenWRT website, however, the search for vuci packages was not removed from opkg update command and thus this is the error you get because of the missing page on the server. But this does not impact the downloads of official Teltonika packages as the package list for Teltonika packages is stored on a Teltonika Networks page opkg.teltonika-networks.com

In the log you have provided you can see that the opkg update does download the required packages list.

Downloading http://opkg.teltonika-networks.com/d8e7c18320c5d5f9467c490804f373bbecaa063ef849b8f331860f5db8925b6f/Packages.gz

Updated list of available packages in /usr/lib/opkg/lists/tlt_packages

When you enter the Package manger -> Packages windows in the beginning is does show an empty window, however, the device is downloading the package list in the background and when the list is fetched, they will be displayed in the table bellow. Testing the loading of packages on the devices in our office showed no issues on both 7.1.2 and 7.1.4 FW version.

If the window remains without any packages displayed, that usually mean that the router could not connect to the Teltonika server.

Could you check if the router is able to establish connection using telnet, the router has this feature installed by default:

 telnet opkg.teltonika-networks.com 80

If the router connect successfully, the line should remain black and after typing anything and hitting enter you should get something like this as a response:

HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request

Server: nginx

Date: Tue, 29 Mar 2022 13:31:21 GMT

Content-Type: text/html

Content-Length: 166

The problem was reported as you said in another thread.
Teltonikas engineer only suggested to check the internet connection which of course works fine.

This forum is totally abandoned by Teltonika support. They don't care about what you submit here, especially if it's 100% firmware problem.

I regret buing Teltonika RUT every single day. Wifi download with great LTE signal strength is max 20Mbit/s which is ridiculous. This is not a single situation, many users complains about RUT240 on multiple forums.

Firmware is buggy, two of DDNS services I've tried requires manual script modification (which is of course being overwritten in every next firmware release).
