Hello
i have to RUT955 Routers with the newest Firmware RUT9_R_00.07.02.6. But i cant backup the config from Router A and restore it on Router. I had the same Error with older Firmwares.
Any Tricks or Help to get it running?

Are you not able to restore backup on the same router the backup has been taken from, or are you not able to restore backup on a different router?

i am not able to restore the backup on a "different" router (but same Type RUT955 and Firmware Version).

Do the product codes of the devices match? Because, in order for the backup to be compatible, the codes must match.

I have two RUT955 Routers (same Order, identical Product).
I also tried to reset the router (factory reset) and restore the backup. This didnt work.

Are the firmware versions of both routers identical?

You can also try to copy configuration files from the router using WinSCP as instructed in this page and move them to another router. The directory with the configuration is /etc/config.

so ...... me Setup:

Router A:    RUT955    FW: RUT9_R_00.07.02.6
Router B:    RUT955    FW: RUT9_R_00.07.02.6
same type, same order, same firmware .....

I want to create/ backup the Config from Router A and save it on my PC.
Next i want to take the Backup Config from Router A and restore it on Router B.

Copying the /etc/config works, but its just a workaround.
It would be better if it work with the web GUI.
Any other ideas?

Could you generate troubleshoot files from both devices to check and attach them by editing your question? 

To generate the files, access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration > Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there.

One router (S_troubleshoot-Teltonika-RUT955.com-2022-08-30.tar.gz) has a strange behavior.
This router can not even load its own config.

RUT955T03XXX and RUT955003XXX are not identical product codes. Both devices differ in that they have different modem modules and different region support, thus their backups are incompatible.

Is the Product code visible on the Outside?

You can find it on the packaging, WebUI in Status -> System or via CLI with command mnf_info -n.
