Question

Hi,

Just got a new RUTX50 (Firmware: RUTX_R_00.07.04)

Data is working (4G LTE), but when trying to send a SMS using WebUI, I got a "Failed to send message".

So , i turned to CLI  :  gsmctl --debug --sms --send "+33xxxxx TEST1"

And got:

[gsmctl_send_sms:20] error: ERROR: Failed to parse response

Don't what is happening , thank you for any hints.

Hi,

Could you try downgrading your firmware? Please use RUTX_R_00.07.03.4. To download, click HERE. And make sure to uncheck "Keep Settings". Kindly let me know the result.

Hello,

I would like you to attach a troubleshoot file to your question. Please, replicate the issue by sending a few SMS messages, then access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there. 

The logs in the file might provide more insight into the issue.

As requested, here the troubleshoot file after I just tried to send 2 SMS with CLI this morning.

I stayed at the current version at the moment.

Just downgraded firmware from RUTX_R_00.07.04 to R_00.07.03.4.

Same issue:

# gsmctl --debug --sms --send "+336xxxxx TEST1"
[gsmctl_send_sms:20] error: ERROR: Failed to parse response

Any hints ?.

Issue when sending SMS is still ongoing... with same error (with GUI or CLI).

For info, receiving SMS is ok.

Can you have a look and give some news ?.
