@mellow
I'm getting frustrated. Can I talk to the person working on figuring this out? I've been VERY clear on what the bug is.
This has been going on for 1.5 months now and I provided you a troubleshoot file, in this thread, on July 29th.
Of course the TCP dump is showing Pings, I told you that is what its doing. PLEASE give this EXACT info below to the engineer working on this...
BUG:
When RUTX11 is NOT Failed Over it is ALWAYS Connected to 4G and thus sending Pings.
-- RUTX11 should NOT be Connected to 4G and NOT be sending Pings when its NOT failed over.
When I force it to 3G it stays Disconnected so 3G seems to work fine.
If this could be a hardware problem, send me a new RUTX11 and I'll test it and let you know. I dont have a spare one of these, they are expensive.
I've spent over a month trying all sorts of settings. Before the last time I sent the TCP Dump file I...
- Factory reset
- Bootloader flashed and using the latest firmware.
- Manually set up (did not restore backup) everything
Attached is the TCP Dump and Troubleshoot file from today.
Failover was DISABLED then I ENABLED it and in the graphs you can see it started sending Pings immediately but before that was not.
Please fix this, it costs money to use data. At this point I cannot use Failover at all since it uses data when not failed over.
