Anybody else having this issue? Is it just missing in the GUI or was it removed without stating so in the change logs?

Yes, it's empty.

From the log above:

Mon Aug 9 12:43:41 2021 daemon.info gsmd[10973]: gsmd[src/gsmd.c:write_to_serial():508]: Write to 1-1.2 modem /dev/ttyUSB2 serial failed Mon Aug 9 12:43:41 2021 daemon.info gsmd[10973]: gsmd[src/gsmd.c:dispatch_work():953]: Problem with writing to serial - modem /dev/ttyUSB2

Your device seems defective.

The device is offline now, for unknown reasons, so next step is going to be very time consuming for me.

I need to understand if this is the official Teltonika support channel, as I’m pretty sure my device is defective and this has taken almost two months by now.

This is a free support forum. For RMAs go to https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RMA

Hello,

The feature is present on the RUTX11 with the same firmware version. Could you check the output of gsmctl -seix from a ssh console ?

Regards,

When gpsctl fails, does "cat /dev/ttyUSB1" still outputs something ?
by anonymous
No, "cat /dev/ttyUSB1" just leaves a blinking cursor while executing "gpsctl -seix" (in another SSH terminal).
by anonymous
And cat /dev/ttyUSB1 alone, is it still empty ?
by anonymous
I think you are right. Is this official support that will handle an RMA case or what's the procedure?
by anonymous
Just to be sure, could you revert the firmware to the previous version and see if it fails in the same manner ?
